These terms are supplemented by the signed rental agreement and the information provided during the booking process. In case of discrepancy, the terms of the rental agreement will prevail.

1. Terms and Conditions

  1. Our rentals are calculated in 24-hour periods, starting from the scheduled return time. The dates and times agreed upon in the rental contract will prevail.
  2. For rental periods longer than 28 days, please consult special conditions at info@2mrentacar.es.
  3. In case of delay in returning the vehicle or abandonment of it, the amount corresponding to the extended period will be charged according to the specific rate published on the website plus a surcharge of the price per day according to the season until the recovery of the vehicle by the company, as well as the amount corresponding to any damage caused and the expenses caused by the recovery.
  4. Early return of the vehicle will not generate any refund.
  5. For operational reasons related to vehicle inspection, the lessor reserves the right to replace the vehicle at any time with another of similar characteristics.
  6. It is not permitted to rent, or be an additional driver, if you are under 21 years of age or have held your driving license for less than 2 years.
  7. Leaving the national territory is not permitted under any circumstances, nor is maritime transport of the vehicle allowed.
  8. A credit card in the name of the cardholder, who must be listed as the main or additional driver on the rental agreement, is required. The card must be valid for at least six months at the time the rental agreement is signed. Prepaid cards will not be accepted. (Revolut, Wise…).
  9. It is not permitted to be listed as the main driver of more than one vehicle during the same period. Both the main driver and any additional drivers must be present at the time of delivery.
  10. A valid driver's license and identity document must be presented to collect the vehicle. Renters with a driver's license in non-Latin characters or issued outside the European Union must present a valid international driving permit. Temporary driver's licenses will not be accepted.
  11. All prices are expressed in euros and include VAT.
  12. The models indicated in the reservations are always indicative. A model with similar or superior features will be delivered. Any extra items and pre-authorizations linked to the reservation will correspond to the delivered group if it differs from the group initially reserved.
  13. The lessee is required to carry their copy of the valid rental agreement with them at all times for the duration of the rental period. The document must be displayed visibly in the vehicle at all times. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in the lessor being liable for any applicable penalties and administrative fees.
  14. Smoking is not permitted inside the rental vehicle in accordance with Law 42/2010, which prohibits smoking in any collective space.
  15. It is permitted to transport pets inside the rental vehicle, provided that a pet carrier is used.
  16. A valid return flight number will be required to finalize the contract. We reserve the right to request a boarding pass.
  17. As a guarantee against possible damage to the vehicles, a security deposit (hereinafter pre-authorization) is required in the form of a hold on the credit card of 500€This security deposit excludes management fees, recovery fees, or other possible charges unrelated to damages made to the rented vehicle.
  18. In the event of vehicle replacement due to breakdown or accident, the customer will be required to provide a new pre-authorization for the amount corresponding to the new vehicle delivered.
  19. The coverage offered by 2M Rent a Car reduces the deductible to €0. This coverage does not cover personal injuries suffered by the renter (PAI), nor personal belongings left, stored, or transported in the vehicle. Damage to wheels (tires and rims), undercarriage, running boards, roof, interior, convertible top, keys, parcel shelf, and antenna are not included in the insurance, nor are damages caused by poorly paved or unpaved roads, refueling with incorrect fuel, or damage to or loss of vehicle accessories (such as warning triangles, safety vests, child seats, beacons, etc.) or items belonging to the renter.
  20. In cases of breakdown caused by driver negligence, the full amount of the repair will be charged, which may be higher than the blocked amount.
  21. Any coverage is subject to the customer's compliance with the conditions detailed in the rental agreement, including the submission of an amicable accident report or police report within 48 hours of the incident.
  22. Damages caused by the customer not included in the contracted coverages will be charged to the card provided according to the table of values ​​of parts, hours of work and repair time.
  23. Any insurance contracted through intermediaries does not imply a reduction of the deductible or any coverage with 2M Rent a Car, and it is the customer's responsibility to claim any possible reimbursement of damages from the external company.
  24. Any warning light on the vehicle that illuminates during the rental period must be reported immediately to the office or the agreed roadside assistance channel, and the lessee will be liable for any damages caused by failure to comply with this obligation.
  25. It is forbidden to make any type of modification or repair to the rented vehicle without the express consent of 2M Rent a Car.
  26. Theft protection will only apply when the tenant hands over the original set of keys and the original document regarding the incident report.

2. Additional clauses for van rental

  1. As a guarantee against possible damage to the vehicles, a security deposit (hereinafter pre-authorization) is required in the form of a hold on the credit card of 600€This security deposit excludes management fees, recovery fees, or other possible charges unrelated to damages made to the rented vehicle.
  2. The coverage offered by 2M Rent a Car is not available for van rentals; the deductible is not reduced to €0.
  3. The lessee assumes responsibility for any damage, breakdown or loss resulting from the use of the vehicle.
  4. The renter assumes responsibility for any misuse of the van, including the transport of hazardous, unauthorized, or improper goods, as well as exceeding the maximum permitted weight. Misuse will automatically result in the forfeiture of the entire deposit.
  5. The company may inspect the vehicle at any time if it suspects misuse. If any breach is detected, the contract will be terminated immediately, the renter must return the van within one hour, and there will be no refund for unused days.

3. Items, mileage and other charges

  1. Baby seat (0-13 kg; 0-15 months), subject to availability. 8€ x día.
  2. Child seat in forward-facing position (9-18 kg; 1-4 years), subject to availability. 8€ x día.
  3. High back booster seat (15-36 kg; 4-12 years), subject to availability. 8€ x día.
  4. High back booster seat (15-36 kg; 4-12 years), subject to availability. 5€ x día.
  5. Parking ticket for airport pickup: up to 18€ (independent of the price of the airport delivery/return service).
  6. Transfers (delivery/return at hotel or requested address), please check availability. 30€ to 120€ per trip according to distance.
  7. Mileage policy: unlimited.
  8. Fine management fee: does not include payment of the penalty. 30€ for each fine.
  9. Additional cleaning: when extra vacuuming or washing is required due to poor vehicle condition, presence of sand… 40€.
  10. Special cleaning: When special cleaning is required due to stains that cannot be removed with a normal cleaning cycle and/or could impair the vehicle's immediate use by the next user. Examples include tobacco odor or the presence of ash, pet hair, and upholstery stains. 100€.
  11. Special cleaning of child seats: 30€.
  12. Loss of documentation: due to the loss of the technical data sheet, circulation permit or insurance policy certificate. 20€.
  13. Loss or breakage of safety equipment: vests, triangles, beacon… 50€.
  14. Loss or breakage of child car seats: Group 0+ (180€), Group 1 (100€), Group 2 (100€), Group 3 (50€).
  15. Return of vehicle to the wrong location (110€) or abandonment of this (190€). It does not include any costs incurred by the recovery.
  16. Improper or unauthorized use: driving without due diligence, drivers not authorized by contract, maritime transport of the vehicle, or leaving national borders 300€.
  17. Roadside assistance not covered: travel costs depend on the distance in km between the vehicle and the rental office and the type of on-site repair required.
  18. Damages not covered by the coverages included or contracted together with the damage management fee 50€.
  19. All lessees and/or additional drivers will be jointly and severally liable for all obligations of the rental agreement, as well as for drivers not authorized by the contract.

4. Fuel Policy

  1. We deliver the vehicle with a certain amount of fuel, and the renter must return it in the same condition. If any fuel is missing upon return, the customer will be charged for the missing fuel, along with a refueling and handling fee. 20€.
  2. Any issues with the vehicle's fuel tank upon delivery must be reported by the customer before leaving the premises. No claims will be accepted afterward.
  3. Fuel prices in effect at the time of vehicle collection will apply. 2M Rent a Car reserves the right to change these prices based on fluctuations in the oil market.

5. Cancellations, no-shows and extensions

  1. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the payment of 50% of the total value of the reservation by the client/agency, unless there is a documented justified cause.
  2. If the customer has not collected their vehicle within 4 hours of the scheduled pick-up time, 2M will declare the reservation a no-show and release the reserved vehicle. Cancellations received less than 2 hours in advance will also be considered no-shows.
  3. Both no-shows and cancellations made less than 2 hours in advance will be charged 100% of the total amount paid to cover operating costs and lost profits.
  4. Any extension of a current reservation is subject to written confirmation of availability and price from 2M Rent a Car. All extensions will be processed by 2M Rent a Car's TGV at the time of the request. Furthermore, a new contract must be signed and paid for at the company's premises.
  5. In the event of cancellation of the reservation at the request of the client, any bank charges generated by this operation will be passed on by the company.
